Shiatsu - Oriental Massage

A Japanese form of physical therapy and therapeutic massage, based on traditional Chinese medicine. It combines acupressure massage techniques, gentle physical manipulation, and pressure to specific points of the body to stimulate or release the 'meridians' (paths of the body) through which energy flows.

Myotherapy
expands the clinical assessment and treatment of soft tissue dysfunction.
A new level of client care is achieved through dry needling, electrotherapy and therapeutic exercise prescription. The excellent tactile skills already developed are enhanced and these alternative treatments options assist in the recovery process.

Remedial Massage
A Remedial Massage Therapist has the knowledge and skills to choose the best application of techniques to treat muscular pain and dysfunction affecting human movement.
Remedial Therapy focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissues and is used to address specific problems associated with chronic muscular pain, injury rehabilitations, sporting and occupational injuries, RSI, and fatigue (physical and mental).
It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body, through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, by either following or crossing over the muscle fibres, fascia and tendons. Techniques can include trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, myofascial release techniques and stretch and strengthening exercises.
